Selecting Teachers from the Lookup Tables menu allows you to set properties which are directly related to the curriculum and timetable.  However, you cannot add new records.  This must be done using the Staff form within the Staff Finder of SchoolBase^®.  The Name and Mnemonic are not the ‘property’ of the timetabler and should already have been set elsewhere.  The Export Code is editable in this table, but is only required for those schools intending to import timetables from scheduling systems such as ‘Timetabler’ or ‘Nova’ or ‘Untis’.  The Room is the default teaching room and should only be used where that teacher teaches the majority of their lessons in that location; if they don’t you will spend all your time changing this information!  Rooms are selected from a drop-down menu which will be blank until the ‘Rooms’ table is completed (see below).

Teaches, Does Cover and Time Tabled are exactly what they seem and are all used by the system so you must enter a value.  You can ignore the words true and false and just use 1 and 0 respectively as it is much quicker.
