The periods/week can be set individually for members of staff or by going to the Staff menu and selecting Set Periods/Week. If you have filtered the list of staff to full or part-time staff then selecting the option to set the period/week for all staff will only set it for the filtered staff in the list.

You can set either All staff or Selected staff, and enter the number of periods they teach per week, which will be copied to all their records.
