The Time Planner module enables the user to manage the current year’s timetable or to construct the next year’s timetable by viewing and amending the timetable by staff, room, subject, year or school section. The Time Planner is a tool that records the changes made by the user rather than constructing the timetable for the user, which means that no restrictions or rules need be entered before the timetable can be built.

The Time Planner has its own copy of the relevant SchoolBase data. This has a number of advantages: the first is that the school staff do not have access to the new timetable until you want them to, and the second is that you may take the data to work on a standalone computer or laptop and then return it when you are ready.
