In addition to tracking grades from assessment you can create an independent set of test scores and create a track based on them. The tracks can be analysed on a pupil by pupil basis or across entire test sets. Reading ages and Non-Verbal Reasoning scores can also be tracked over a period of time. The steps in creating and tracking a set of test scores are listed below. Clicking the appropriate link allows you to look at each step in detail. - Set up your test types. This is done via a Lookup table called TestType. If it is not present it must be added using the Forms and Reports process as usual.
- Add the new test. In order to add a new test you will need to have the TestHead form added to your menu using Forms and Reports.
- Define the parameters of the new test. This is done on the TestResults form.
- Click the Scores button to add the test scores for each element. This is done on the TestScore form.
- Give each track a name – BUT DO NOT CLICK THE Track now BUTTON YET.
- You do not have to track these scores but can do so. If you track them, they will be combined with the tracks you create from other sources and will be available from the Tracks button on the pupil form.
