Timetable

This Lookup table is opened by clicking the Staff button on the Basics tab of the Timetable menu and allows you to set properties which are directly related to the timetable. However, you cannot add new records. This must be done using the Staff form. The Name and Mnemonic are not the ‘property’ of the timetabler and should already have been set elsewhere. The Room is the default teaching room and should only be used where that teacher teaches the majority of their lessons in that location. If they don’t you will spend all your time changing this information.
Teaches, Does Cover and Time Tabled are exactly what they seem and are all used by the system so you must enter a value. Ignore the words true and false and just use 1 and 0 – it is much quicker.
The Min/Day, Max/Day and Weekly Quota are NOT used by SchoolBase® but are there for various export processes. They are not mandatory in any case.
The Export Code need only be used where you are restricted on your scheduling package. For instance, old versions of Nova only allowed 2 characters and you may want to use more in SchoolBase®.
