There are several pages of information and you move between them by clicking on the tabs along the top of the window. A lot of additional functionality can be accessed using the buttons on the right of the window.

Activities can be recorded her in as many categories as have been set up by your Data Manager. (By default there are three: Sport, Music and Other.) Don’t forget that the tags can be posted and it’s often much quicker to use those. (See Tag Lists.) If there are 15 boys off to a rugby match you could find each one, come into their record and then add the information in the Sports category but it would be far quicker to tag the squad up and then post the tag to the sports area. Once done, you can retrieve the records from the Finder by selecting the Rugby squad under extra curricular and you will immediately get the 15 boys.

When you have a one-off piece of information it is probably quicker to find the pupil record and add it directly.
