Timetable
|
|
This table, accessible from Subjects in the Lookup Tables column of the Timetable Menu, should contain details of all subjects taught, studied or examined. - Keep the Code short and obvious. The Subject field can be as long as you like.
- Free indicates that this is not a genuine subject but can be counted as a free lesson and therefore be included in the cover system.
- If the Current box is not ticked the subject is not part of the current timetable and is listed for archive purposes only.
- The Export Code is just that and is used in the export/import functions only.
- Assign subjects to a department to allow exam results and tests for the subject to be analysed by department.
- 'Subsidiary subject of' allows you to assign subjects as being part of another subject. This is used, for example, in the early years area, but can be used anywhere to show subjects that are split into separate subject areas.
There is a button at the bottom of the form labelled Priorities. This takes you to a form which allows you to create subject priority sets for subject reports.
