Activities and Real Time
|
Using this section of SchoolBase it is possible to create real-time events (lessons) for situations such as peripatetic music lessons, which may take place during the school day our outside the normal timetable, and which may use totally different lengths of time from the main timetable. The 'lessons' created in this way remain separate from the main timetable so that they can be managed in an appropriate way, but the information will be included on staff and pupil timetable printouts and on-line views as a separate list.

Subjects may be added to the list. The system will check to see if they already exist in the main subject table in the Timetable menu, and if they do not, will automatically add them.
Staff may be added to the list but only if they already exist in SchoolBase. If not, they will need to be added via the Staff (edit) menu.
By clicking on the appropriate button next to the subject or staff member, staff can be associated with subjects or vice-versa.

Clicking the Group Menu button at the bottom of the form takes you to the Real Time Group Menu where you are able to set up groups for peripatetic teaching.
