From the Contact tab of an open pupil record it is possible to create a new action in SchoolBase Online. An action has two roles: to record contact that members of staff have had with parents, and to set up reminders for future action, e.g. following up a contact at a future date. The reminders can be for yourself or another member of staff. When you press the New Action button, the following form appears:

You then fill this in with details of the contact you have had with the parents, and who needs to follow this up, and when.

When you press the save button, you get a brief acknowledgement message that your action has been saved, and it appears in the action list.
