This report entry format is a shortened one which does not include comments. It may contain a variety of grades and scores with locally defined names and value sets. The Set averages button creates a mean score based on the first score column. You will not see this until you move away from the teaching group and then return to it. Double-clicking the pupil's name opens that pupil's record. The P button causes a photo to be displayed. The Grade count box allows you to pick one of the grades (in this case Grade or Division) and see a breakdown of the grades awarded. Grades should be entered in the boxes on the left, picking from the dropdown list where appropriate. Scores are entered on the right. If, as here, you want to store the average score for the group, you can at any point click the Calculate average button at the right of the form. By default this stores the average of scores from the first box in the second box (here labelled Exam Average). However, if you have four score boxes you can similarly store the average of scores from any box in any of the three other boxes. You must remember to perform this operation once all the scores have been entered. The process is not automatic. Similarly you can get SchoolBase to calculate the pupil's positions based on a score. Again choose the score field and the field where you want the position displayed, and then click the Calculate position button. It is now possible to add a small subject comment on this form which is only visible when the Comment box is selected in Assessment Setting. Use the navigation buttons to move between teaching groups. Each group is saved when you navigate away from it or click the Close button after entering the last group.
