 The email and text facilities available from Pupil Finder have been grouped into this Communicate tab on the right of Finder.
Email parents
If this feature is turned on in your system, you can use this button to generate an Email to the parents of a selected pupil or pupils. The feature is turned off by default. Text parents
This facility allows you to send SMS messages to groups of parents directly from SchoolBase®. It can be used, for example, to tell parents about a trip which is back late, remind them of an open day or parents’ evening or tell parents that the school is being closed in bad weather. The cost is about 10p a message which is a lot less than a phone call or letter. Do contact us if you would like to add this feature to your system. Email pupils
