Use this tab to record any vaccinations either administered by you or elsewhere. The list of available vaccinations can be edited via the Vaccination types button. With reference to best practice in vaccine administration it is also possible to record the site of the injection. Sites available can be edited through the Injection sites button. The Batch number is not essential but may be useful in case of any problems. The dropdown list under Given by can be tailored to include any of the school medical staff who may administer vaccinations or (as here) include a general term such as GP where the exact person is not known. To access the list select Nursing Staff from your menu. You can also now record the Expiry date so you can see when a further vaccination is due.

Medical staff who no longer work for the school can be left on the list but if not ticked as Current will not appear in dropdown lists.
