Medical Alert

If a pupil has a medical condition which staff need to be especially aware of such as Diabetes, Sudden Death Syndrome or potentially fatal allergic reaction, this can be highlighted by ticking the Medical Alert box. This will cause a reminder to appear on the main page of the pupil’s record.

Printed Reports

You can produce a hard copy of the pupil’s medical record by clicking the Medical report button at the bottom of the medical record form. This will launch the Crystal Reports viewer. You will need to have Crystal Reports installed on your computer for this and other medical reports to work. Please check with your systems administrator if you have any problems.

Other medical reports can be found under Med on the reports section of the Finder form.

Staff Access to Medical Information

It is possible to give other staff access to view the conditions, allergies and vaccinations stored about pupils. They gain access via a button on the side of the pupil record.

However, this is an option and is switched off by default. If you wish staff to have access you should ask for it to be switched on by your data manager.
