Timetable

Selecting Groups from the Timetable Menu brings up this view of all the curriculum groups for the working year. You can use the red navigation arrows at the bottom to move between academic years, and the List and Timetable buttons allow you to view the class list and timetable for the selected group.

The fields available in this view are as follows:

Teachers 1-4: The mnemonic identifying the teacher(s) for the group. All teachers allocated to the group will appear in the timetable, and you can choose whether you want reports for all teachers or just the first teacher for groups when you are setting up an assessment.

Sub: The subject being taught. This has to be from your Subjects lookup.

Group Name: The name of the group. This needs to be unique for the academic year and should describe the group, e.g. 7a-Fre means Year 7, French, group A.

Year: Which school year does this group belong to.

Report on: Is an academic report required for this group (usually ticked, but you may want to remove the tick for private study etc)

List: see a list of the pupils in the group

Timetable: see a list of the timetabled lessons for the group.

Form: If this group is taught in forms, which form is taught in this group.

Cur/Group No: Ignore these fields, they show the internal numbering of groups/curriculum items in the system and are only used by Furlong.
