This form should be self-explanatory. It is intended to carry out three different tasks:

1. Changing the tutor for a selected form. Clicking the Change now button updates the tutor in the Class table and updates the records of each of the pupils in that class. This is necessary since the pupil's pastoral tutor is not always derived exclusively from the form they are in.
2. Resetting the tutor of all current pupils to the tutor of the form to which they have been allocated. Clicking the Set defaults button carries out this action.
3. Changing the tutor for a particular pastoral group. This is similar to task 1 except that it is used where the pastoral tutor is not derived from the form the pupil is in.

 You can of course change a tutor for an individual pupil via the pupil record or for several pupils using Multi-edit.
