This is an optional process, as Recharges can be created either from standard tags, or from Finance Tags. The benefit of converting them into Finance Tags is that they then cannot be altered by non-finance staff!

Select the ‘Tagging’ option from the main menu. The window will open initially showing on the right those tags which have been copied as Finance Tags. Once designated, the pupils in the tagged group cannot be changed by administration and teaching staff. This is a safeguard to the bursary to ensure that all pupils are billed.

The list on the left shows all other Staff Tags.

To convert a Staff Tag to a Finance Tag, select it in the ‘Staff tags’ list and click the green arrow button.
To view the pupils in a tagged group, select the tag in the list and either double-click it or click the magnifying glass button.
