There are occasions when fees and other charges need to be split in more complex ways that a simple percentage or 'cash amount' split, or where one adult has agreed to pay for a specific item (or a proportion of it).

FeeMaster 50 allows you to set up 'rules' which govern the way these contributions are calculated and allocated.

Rules are set up for individual fee payers, and therefore they have first to be identified in the adult record.  The adult must be identified as a fee payer, and allocated a bursary number.  Then, in the 'Fee Payer Type' drop-down, select 'Rule Based

Then, on the 'Fee Payer Rules' tab, the pupil, adult and calculation method can be defined.
