Some schools needs different pupil grouping in the finance section from those used in the school office and classroom. ‘Pupil Finance Types’ allows bursary staff to associate fee types with one or more year(s) of children independent of the academic groupings. If you are happy with the current Pupil Types, do nothing as Pupil Finance Types default to the main Pupil Types in SchoolBase. If, however, you want to modify the existing groupings then use the 'Pupil type fees' button from the Finance Menu to access this form.

Here you can add or change the descriptions. Then, when you are happy with this, click the Apply to years button to move to the Years form.
