The download of external examination results is covered elsewhere. Once the results are in the system, they can be added to pupil tracks or analysed using Tests and Scores. Currently the Pupil Origin Number is not included in the display of results so you will need to add this. Here is a worked example:
We wish to add the 2006 A Level results to our tracking. First we export these into a spreadsheet. We do this by clicking the Grades button in the Exam Results form shown here.
We can then tidy it up to give just the results we need. This gives us something like this:
In order to import this as a track we need the PupOrigNum. Using Export Builder we extract what we need giving us this:
By judicious copying, pasting and deleting, and inserting columns so that the result data begins in column 7, we achieve a format we can reimport - notice the blank columns D-G which I have labelled a, b, c, d (not visible here).
Once imported the results can now be inspected in Tests and Scores.
If we add these results to the pupil tracks, they will look like this for a typical pupil:
