Once your entries are complete, you need to export the data to files which are to be uploaded to the examination boards. Select the head number and then the board. For all newly imported data the series letter should be added automatically but check it is there and that it is correct.
For a single examination centre school there is no need to select the centre number. For multiple centre schools it is essential that the centre is selected.
Once these are set, just click the Create Entry File button.
A number of things have now happened. - Your data is checked for a variety of things - Assuming all data checks out (and you will get a warning if not) then the system will display the data on the screen and will save a file in the designated examinations officer folder ready for onward transmission to the board.
You need to work through each board in turn. In a similar way you can choose to create a file for: - Candidate withdrawals - candidates with no entries in the system who are to be completely withdrawn
- Amendments - candidates whose entries are ticked as amendments but still have entries
- Coursework entries
The remaining button View file log displays a log of entry file creation. Click here to see an example. For help on the other tabs in the Exam Entry form please use the following links: Subject Selection Candidate Numbering Exam Header Entry Data Reports Export files Coursework Corrections
