Importing Results    Viewing Results   Amending Results

If there is an error or a successful appeal and the results for a pupil need to be changed, this can be done via the Finder form. However, for obvious reasons this access should only be given to the Examinations Officer. If it has not been done, you need to ask your Data Manager to add a version of the Finder form to your menu using an opening argument of 11. This adds a Change button to the External Exams tab of a pupil’s record when it is opened.

To change a result:

  • use the Finder form to locate the pupil
  • click on the External Exams tab
  • click the Change button
  • make the amendments
  • click the Close button

You can also add results manually.  This is normally because a pupil has taken the examinations elsewhere so they have not been imported in the normal way.  Select an exam type, a year and a month and then click the Add results for this pupil button.  You need to know the examination board, code and title of the exam as well as the pupil’s result. Where exam results are entered manually the Manual addition flag on the right will show True. If results have been entered manually they may be deleted. It is not possible to delete results that have been imported, only to make changes to them.
