CATS has a huge amount of unnecessary information

DO NOT import dates of birth or age at time of test etc. SchoolBase® already has each pupil's date of birth and functions to calculate an age at any point in time.

So copy and paste the data to a new spreadsheet but delete as many columns as are not wanted. Note that the Id (column J) holds the PupOrigNum. This should be pasted into column A

We found several examples of CATS data that had over 100 columns - thin this down to what you need and use. You will always have the original if you later discover you want to use more of the information provided.

Once you have the data arranged as above, import it as for the Turnaround Document Method Steps 3 to 6.
