This form can be accessed from either the allergy area within the main pupil medical record or the Medical Support Data form. It allows you to manage the allergies available to assign to pupils in your database. It is not possible to delete allergies from this list as they may have been assigned to pupils, but you can add new allergies and change the wording of the existing allergies, e.g. to correct spelling mistakes.

The 'is dietary?' tickbox allows you to notify those who need to be aware (e.g. catering staff) of food allergies and other dietary requirements. We would recommend that non-allergy related dietary information, such as vegetarian or halal, is also stored in allergies, ticked as dietary, so that this information is all in the same place for those who need to know.

Clicking the 'New' button will take you to the bottom of the list so that you can add a new record. You can close the form by pressing the cancel button, which will close without saving any changes you have made, or by pressing the close button, which will save your changes.

Alternatively click File and choose Save and Exit or Exit without saving.
