Many schools use Alis A-Level predictions, but Alis need a particular set of data to tell them which A-level subjects the year 12 students are studying. We have written a stored procedure to enable you to provide this easily.

First, you need to set up a subject priority set, from Assessment Menu, with Sub Level set to 1 for all the A-Level subjects.

Then set up a new menu item as follows, using the Stored Procedure Viewer with the FBSAlisExporter stored procedure.

When you run the stored procedure from your data manager menu, you will be asked to provide some information:

The answer to this is the name of your year group, e.g. Year 12 or L6 - find out from your years table if you are unsure.

You will also be asked for Priority set - the number of the subject priority set you have used to identify A-level subjects, and Academic year, which is usually 12 for 2011-12, 13 for 2012-13 etc.

After this, you should get a table of information, which you can copy and paste into a spreadsheet to send to Alis.
