When setting Parents' Evening appointments you can now add gaps for teachers on an individual basis. Click the ‘Populate Staff & Parents’ button then ‘Edit Staff’ – now you can click the ‘Apps’ button and double click any times to be added as breaks. Nice idea from Bancroft’s School.

San Silvestre, in common with many other schools, has taken enthusiastically to the new Activities system. They requested that they could include activities when they generate the parent evening appointments. To use this just select when selecting which year or years will be attending the parents evening.

When setting up a Parents' Evening you can ‘Check Curriculum Groups’ so that you can include or exclude groups – perhaps in the run up to A Levels you want to concentrate only on examination based subjects so do not want appointments for General Studies or Games. King’s Eastleigh suggested a pick – unpick all. In the example shown here we have filtered to Subject Games then clicked the PEv check box to deselect Games from this Parents' Evening.
