The 'Old Timetable Menu' continues to shrink – have you set up a menu item to the new one yet – we have seen quite a few schools where there are an unnecessary number of clicks to get to some forms. All the dot.net forms can be set up in their own right.

Your feedback has been very encouraging and we have completed a number of minor improvements as suggested by you as well as removing or correcting several interesting features we added along the way.

Covers

This form can be accessed from the new timetable menu or can be placed directly onto any menu. Many thanks for the feedback from the last release.  Loads of minor improvements that together makes this a major upgrade.

For example the area for entering

• 'Notes' can now be accessed directly or by the click of a button for a larger writing area.

• When selecting a person for cover you can see their department(s) – but only if that information is included in your data.

• The cover counter now excludes suspended lessons

• The 'Find Absence' tab makes it far simpler to find a cover and adjust as needed
• Both the Reports and Housekeeping tabs are much simpler to follow but

PLEASE REMEMBER that if you make big changes to your timetable you may need to click the  button.

Allocate Frees

The old Timetable menu had a button to allow for this function.

In the new Timetable Menu it is built into the Timetable itself giving far greater flexibility and cutting another 'go one place for one bit – then another for another'! You can filter to a single period or teacher or whatever. You can filter to Free time or Available time (i.e. exclude time allocated as not available, which is level 0)
