When we moved to allow parents to logon with their email address we caused a problem – two parents = two email addresses = two passwords but we only had one of each. Now fixed. You can have two password and logon instances for a parent set. Separated parents could always logon separately. To use this all you need to do is change the System Variable | Online Properies as shown below.
Behind the scenes there is an automatic process that will now create a second entry where there is a second parent on the record with an email address. This can take up to four hours to complete though is often much faster.
You will obviously need to let parents know they have a second log on and a second password so we have expanded the mail merge with two new fields – AdultPassword2 and AdultUsername2 and these can be incorporated into a mail merge letter.

PLEASE NOTE -
Adult Username2 - linked to their email address thus a change to either email address in SchoolBase® WILL RESULT IN A CHANGE TO THE USERNAME! Or a change to the Username will result in a change to the email address once you have ticked that you are using this process.
