• Uses Email functionality
• Attempts to do some formatting, stripping out letters, brackets etc., if number begins with zero then stripping that off and appending the default dialling code system variable at the start
• Our third party SMS provider Bulksms should de-duplicate numbers, so even if somehow a message is sent to the same number more than once the end user should only receive it once
• Facility to see which numbers you’re sending to
• Facility to change the numbers you’re sending to, and/or updating the record with the new number

Changes to System Variables

• New Permissions Tab for the things that used to be on the bottom of the email/text tab (and jump to staff info categories that you assign them with)
• Super-user email address on Email & Text tab, Bulksms are currently developing a system for us to email this address when some text messages don’t work
• New Options-2 tab as we were running out of space in Options!
