We would recommend that schools using RepWriters N05, N07, N10 or N15 switch to RepWriteN01 which provides greater functionality. These other RepWriters will be removed to be replaced by RepWriteN01, so please contact us to make sure the next round of assessments are set up correctly. Similarly, the latest additions to RepWriteN04 make N04x redundant. The following new features have been added to RepWrite forms: RepWriteN02 – now forces you to enter grades by choosing from a dropdown, like RepWriteN01, N03 & N04. This will help maintain database integrity by avoiding spurious entries. RepWriteN01 & N02 - when reviewing report comments it is useful to have an indication of how far you have got. The ‘Checked’ box allows you to tick them off as you go through them. If a teacher needs to refine a comment they must un-tick both boxes then, after updating the comment, tick Done. This shows it still needs to be re-checked. In addition, ‘Done’ now locks all the grades and scores. Previously you could lock the Comments (by ticking ‘Done’) and still update grades & scores! (Incidentally, if you tick ‘Checked’ without ticking ‘Done’ the assumption is no further updates are needed so ‘Done’ gets ticked automatically). As a follow up to this an ‘Untick All’ button has been added which can be used if you want to make an amendment to all entries (an idea from Abbot’s Hill School) RepWriteN03 – we have added the facility to Calculate Position and Calculate Averages. It is now possible to add a small subject comment which is only visible when the Comment box is selected in Assessment Setting. RepWriteN04 - now has up to 7 pastoral comment slots available for selection in Assessment Setting.
